Coast at UCLA Medical Center

Coast Machinery Movers moved 44 sections of electrical switch gear at UCLA Medical Center. Coast craned the equipment through the top of the building, lowering the switch gear through the elevator shaft to the basement below. Coast then moved the components onto concrete pads for the customer to make the necessary connections and complete the final installation.

In order to accommodate the customer's schedule, all equipment and components were delivered in advance and placed in Coast's South El Monte warehouse facility over a period of two months. The advantage to having the equipment delivered to Coast's yard was the close proximity to the customer and for Coast to confirm inventory, inspect and prep equipment to be delivered on an as need basis for installation. This insures minimum disruption at the site and minimizes cost to the customer.
