At Coast Machinery Movers we have incorporated our THINK 5 Safety program into the way that we do business. We start by recognizing and eliminating “At Risk Behaviors” before they negatively impact any of our most valuable assets, our people.

Think – Think through the task before you start the job.
Look – Look for the exposure that can impact our ability to safely do the job.
Assess – Assess the risks either through qualitative or quantitative measures.
Take – Take precautions that will ensure the safety of all our employees.
Do – Do the job as efficiently and safely as it can be done.

TRAINING

Where it all Starts:

We take training seriously and provide comprehensive training for all our employees before they ever enter the field. We must have confidence in everyone’s ability to operate our equipment safely and competently before we let them handle yours. Here is a list of some of the training that we offer.

• Forklift training for under 10,000 lbs. capacity
• Forklift training for 25,000 lbs. to 10,000 lbs. capacity
• Versalift training up to 100,000 lbs.
• Hydraulic powered gantry training
• Tractor training prior to CDL licensing
• OSHA 10-hour certification
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification
• Certified Rigging NCCCO
• AWS Certified welding
• First Aid/CPR training

We recognize the safety starts with being properly trained to effectively handle any situation that our employees may run into. We take a tremendous amount of pride in Operational Excellence in a high-risk career field while maintain an EMR of .61.
